08/10/08 – Analysis of game vs Johnstone (4-1 win)

Well done to all those involved in the game yesterday. Some good performances particularly in the second half. Remember that there is no sense in ‘having a go’ at your team-mates when they make a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes and the best reaction to this is to encourage them. This certainly became more clear/evident in the second half.

31/08/08 – U-15 Football Trial and Friendly

First of all as most of you know, myself (Mr Parr) and Mr Thom will be taking the U-15 football team this term. We are thoroughly looking forward to it and hope you are too. I intend to use this blog to communicate many football related matters such as fixtures, training dates/times and results and strongly advise you check the blog as often as possible. Now onto some matters at hand…

On Monday 1st of September we will have the U-15 football trials after school on the astroturf pitches. I encourage all those interested to come along. I am very strict on attendance and I expect all those who would like to play for the school team this term to show this type of commitment.

Following this trial, I have made arrangements for a friendly on Tuesday 2nd Sept. The squad will be displayed on the wall in the PE department and everyone selected will play some part in the game.
