23/10/08 – NABs
As I told you yesterday, the first part of your NAB on Skills and Techniques will begin on Monday 27th Oct. You should now think about revising for this. Your class on Friday has been scheduled within a classroom so we can go over any matters of the NAB you are unsure of.
Any further questions, speak to me in school

- Homework Task due Friday 12/09/08

As discussed during your class, your homework is due Friday the 12th of Sept. You are required to write 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses of your badminton performance. When writing your answers, be as specific as you can. For example, if you regard movement as a strength of yours, what exact instance of movement do you mean? A possible answer could be…movement to play shots anywhere on the court etc.
Any problems or questions you can speak to me at school or leave a question on this blog.

- Classification of Skills
First of all, well done to most of you for getting your homework in on time. I understand that some of you found posting on this blog difficult and I will speak to you about it during your next PE class. Some of you handed in ‘hard copies’ of the homework task which is completely fine. However, for your benefit I think it would be worthwhile if you learn to use this blog.
Regarding your homework question, most of you understood the meanings and differences of ’simple’ and ‘complex’ skills, however one or two still havent quite grabbed the concept yet. Consequently I will speak with these people at school but I have also provided a link of a website which gives a good insight into how to classify skills. Click here
